Email templates tend to be copied from the last campaign and edited in a hurry. With Claude connected to GoHighLevel, you can start from a clear brief instead, test the result, and use your own numbers to make the next one better.
Start with a brief
Give Claude the purpose, the audience and the call to action:
In Bright Smile Dental, create an email template called "Autumn check-up reminder". Audience: patients who haven't visited in 6 months. One short paragraph, a friendly tone, and a button to
https://brightsmile.example/book. Use the practice's blue, #1f5fbf.
Claude creates the template in the sub-account. If you already have a design you like, ask it to copy that template and change only the words:
Copy the "Spring newsletter" template and rewrite it for the autumn check-up.
Send yourself a test
Never send a template to a list before you've seen it in a real inbox:
Send a test of that template to me at
frontdesk@brightsmile.example.
Check it on your phone as well as your computer. Look at the subject line, the preview text, the button and any links.
Fix what you see
Ask for specific changes:
The button text is too long. Make it "Book my check-up". And shorten the subject line.
Then send another test. Two rounds is usually enough.
Keep snippets for quick replies
Snippets are the short, reusable replies your team uses in conversations. Claude can list, create and edit them:
Create a snippet called "Parking" with directions to the car park behind the practice.
Learn from past emails
Before you write the next campaign, look at how the last ones did:
How did our last three email campaigns perform? Opens, clicks and unsubscribes.
If one subject line clearly beat the others, use that style again.
Check the sender settings
Deliverability problems often come from sender settings, not the email itself:
What are the email sender settings for this sub-account?
If something looks wrong, fix it in GoHighLevel or ask your email provider.
Sending to real people
Creating and testing templates doesn't message your contacts. When you're ready to send a campaign, Claude will check the audience and content with you first, and the send is recorded in the Activity log along with who asked for it.
Good emails come from small, frequent improvements. Claude makes each round quicker, so you can afford to do more of them.
