Getting started
Four steps, about five minutes. You need a GoHighLevel login and a Claude account that supports custom connectors.
1. Create your organisation
Sign up with your email and a password, then enter the 6-digit code we email you. Your 3-day free trial starts when you confirm — no payment needed. The organisation is the team and billing boundary: sub-accounts, people, payments and the activity log all belong to it.
2. Sign in to GoHighLevel
On Sub-accounts, click Sign in to GoHighLevel and use your own GoHighLevel email and password. If your login belongs to several agencies, pick one. GoHighLevel then emails you a one-time code — enter it, just as you would in the GoHighLevel app. Details: Signing in to GoHighLevel.
3. Choose sub-accounts
Every sub-account your login can reach is listed. Switch on the ones Claude should use; the rest stay out of reach. During the trial, the first sub-account you choose is covered. To use more, pay for them under Billing — see Pricing and billing.
4. Add the connector to Claude
Copy your connector URL:
https://mcp.mygohighlevelmcp.com/mcpAdd it in Claude as a custom connector and sign in with your My GoHighLevel MCP email and password when Claude asks. Per-client steps: Add to Claude.
On Connect Claude in the panel, Test connection checks each link: your GoHighLevel sign-in, usable sub-accounts, GoHighLevel itself, and Claude.
Your first prompt
Try something read-only:
Which sub-accounts can you use, and what's on the calendar there tomorrow?
Then build something:
Create a contact form called "Free quote" with name, email, phone and a message box.
Claude tells you what it is about to do, and asks before sending messages or deleting anything. Everything it did is under Activity.
