Signing in to GoHighLevel

Claude works in GoHighLevel as you: it signs in with your own GoHighLevel login, so it can only do what you could do in the GoHighLevel app. There is no Marketplace app to install.

In the panel

  1. Open Sub-accounts and click Sign in to GoHighLevel.
  2. Enter your GoHighLevel email and password.
  3. If your login belongs to more than one agency, choose one. Sign in again to add another.
  4. GoHighLevel emails you a one-time code. Enter it.

Your password is used once, to sign in, and is never stored. The session GoHighLevel returns is kept encrypted and lasts about 30 days; the Overview warns you before it runs out. Sign in again at any time to renew it.

From Claude

Anyone on your team can also sign in from a chat:

Sign me in to GoHighLevel.

Claude asks for your email and password, then for the code GoHighLevel emails you (tools ghl_login, ghl_select_agency, ghl_submit_otp).

Choosing sub-accounts

After you sign in, every sub-account your login can reach is listed under Sub-accounts, switched off. Switch on the ones Claude may use. My GoHighLevel MCP enforces this on every call: a sub-account that isn't chosen is unreachable, even for someone whose GoHighLevel login could open it.

Admins can also choose from a chat — "Enable Bright Smile Dental" (enable_sub_account, and disable_sub_account to switch one off); "Which sub-accounts can you use?" lists them (list_sub_accounts).

You can sign in to as many GoHighLevel logins and agencies as you like; only the sub-accounts you choose are usable, and each needs its own payment once the trial is over.

Team members

Each member of your organisation signs in to GoHighLevel with their own login. Claude uses that member's session, and only in sub-accounts the organisation has chosen and that member's login can reach.

Signing out

Under Sub-accounts → Sign-ins, admins see every GoHighLevel session in the organisation and can sign any of them out. Removing someone from the team also signs them out. From Claude, ghl_logout signs you out.
